An excellent example of a William 4th British military, Flintlock, Newland Pattern pistol, Circa 1830-1837. 15 inches over all with a walnut full stock showing a good BO and arrow, store marks and a small crown to the wrist. Regulation brass mounts, with stirrup ramrod. The barrel in excellent condition and showing a good WR proof. The lock having a slide safety and two line border, with a very good Crown over WR stamp and acceptance mark. There are two small working life repairs, one just behind the lock and the other at the forend barrel slide. This is an excellent and rare pistol of it's period, in untouched condition .
