A good mid 19th century percussion .44 Colt New Army six shot Revolver. All matching serial numbers on major parts, serial No145176. The cylinder marked, patented September 10th 1850, the main frame marked Colts patent and the 8 inch rifled barrel marked, Address COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK.US AMERCIA-. The bore and cylinder are good. Various other ordanace marks. A good patina with some original blue. 13.5 inches over all.A small amount of ware to one side of the muzzle. A nice period piece. More information on request.
