A very good example of a mid 19th century percussion pocket pistol by Richardson of Edinburgh. An over all length of 6.5 inches, with fine chequered walnut grip and silver escutcheon. The steel framed box lock action is finely engraved and signed Richardson, Edinburgh, with drop down trigger and slide safety all in good condition and working order. The 2 inch turn-off barrel, in good condition and finely engraved at the muzzel. There are some nocks and scratches as would be expected, but over all in very good condition.
